Beater
Chapter 3
We already know what beaters are meant to do with bludgers, but what are they not meant to do? Bludgers have been used to knock out the keeper to leave the goals unsupervised. It was up to the chasers to try and grab the Quaffle before it past the hoops. Many chasers found it almost impossible to catch the Quaffle when they were flying.
Another thing of what NOT to do is knock out the beaters on the other team. Some beaters had been fed up with their team being knocked off their brooms that they got the bludgers to attack the other team's beaters. If that were to happen now the opposing team would have complete control over the bludgers and would be able to knock out the other team when needed. The chasers and keepers would have to be extra careful!
