The Shield Charm is a charm that protects the caster with an invisible shield that reflected spells and blocked physical entites. This barrier can reflect hexes, jinxes and minor curses. Exceptionally powerful Shield Charms can even be able to knock people off their feet, this shield is not completely impenetrable, as it is not able to block Unforgiveable Curses.
