Chapter 2
After the boat stopped on a beach, Alexia and Draco's faces hurt. "How's your foot?" Alexia asked Draco. "Better," He said. "Well, we better have it rest," Alexia said. "We need to find a place to stay the night," Draco said. "Maybe we could find a place close to this beach," Alexia said. "Why?" Draco asked. "The boat," Alexia said. "What about it?" Draco said. Draco turned around and saw the boat had been drifting back in the sea. "Well, now we're stuck here," Draco said. "Where are we?" Alexia asked. Alexia looked behind her, and saw a sign on the beach, saying Florida's Atlantic Beach.. "What's flo rida?" Draco asked. "It's Florida you dummy," Alexia said. "Oh," Draco said. Alexia walked through the sand. Draco followed slowly behind her. When they reached the grass, they took a seat. Alexia sighed. "What's wrong?" Draco asked. "Was this really a good choice?" Alexia asked. "What do you mean?" Draco asked. "We just left our friends, your family, and Potter and his friends," Alexia answered. "They'll be fine," Draco said. "What if their not!" Alexia said loudly. "Quiet down," Draco said. "No. I'm really worried," Alexia said. "What are you worried about?" Draco asked, leaning backwards. "What if Astoria or Pansy or Daphne or Blaise gets killed?" Alexia said. Draco sighed heavily. "it would be our fault!" Alexia said. "And what do you want me to do about it?" Draco asked. "We need to go back to Hogwarts," Alexia said. Draco stood up with great difficulty. "We can't," He answered. Alexia jumped up. "We have to!" Alexia said loudly. "We are being hunted and looked for so we can die!" Draco said, practically shouting. "Our friends could be already dead!" Alexia shouted. "It would be safer if we stayed away!" Draco yelled. "No it wouldn't! He knows we are close with them!" Alexia yelled back. "You're not doing yourself any favors going back there to get killed!" Draco yelled. "I'm not wanting to go back to die! I want to go back to protect Astoria! And Pansy! And Daphne! And Blaise! And Crabbe! And Goyle!" Alexia shouted. Draco was hot with fury now. "We can't risk it," Draco said, calming his voice. "I would risk anything for them!" Alexia shouted. Draco took a step back. "You would, wouldn't you?" Draco asked in a low voice. 'Yes," Alexia said calmly. There was a few moments of silence. "What about me?" Draco asked. "Do I just mean nothing to you?" Alexia folded her arms. She couldn't think of anything to say. "You're really thinking about leaving me here in Flo rida," Draco said, but was cut off. "Florida," Alexia said. Draco continued. "When you would rather be out fighting for your life with Blaise?" Alexia sighed heavily. "Why would you think that?" Alexia asked. "Because you talk about him all the time," Draco said. "No I don't" Alexia answered. "yes you do," Draco said quickly. "he's my friend!" Alexia said, raising her voice. Draco stared at the ground. "You know what? I don't think this is working," Draco said. "What's not working? Your plan? Because I would like to know if we can go back home," Alexia said angrily. "No," Draco said, still looking at the ground. He then looked up into Alexia's blue eyes. "Us," Draco said. "What?" Alexia asked in total shock. "I just don't think we are both getting what we need in this relationship," Draco said. A tear sparked in Alexia's eye. "Are you breaking up with me?" Alexia asked, her voice choking. Draco nodded. The tear slowly made it way down Alexia's cheek, and into the grass. Alexia wiped her eyes. "We need to go back," Alexia said. Alexia then walked back off into the ocean, leaving Draco jumping through the sand after her.
