I Have To
Chapter 11
Draco had been avoiding Alexia ever since the Three Broomsticks. Alexia started spending her time with Pansy and Astoria. Every night they went out to walk around the castle, around ten at night. Though, on June 30th, 1997, Alexia went on a stroll by herself. She heard racket in the Astronomy tower, and went to investigate. When she opened the Astronomy Tower, and saw a glimpse of Dumbledore, and Draco. Alexia slipped through the door quietly, and went behind a giant globe. Alexia then saw Harry peeping through a hole, and Snape right behind him. Alexia slipped out again so Draco could see her. "What are you doing?" Alexia asked. Draco pointed his wand at her. Alexia put her wands up. Draco this time actually looked her in the eye. Suddenly, Snape burst out and pointed his wand at Dumbledore. "Avada Kedavra," He said. Just then, Dumbledore was gone. Harry came bursting out. Snape ran out of the classroom, leaving Harry sprinting after him. Draco's wand was still pointed at her. "What are you doing?" Alexia repeated. "I need to do this," Draco said sadly, tears sparking in his eyes. "Do what?" Alexia shouted. "I have to kill you," Draco said. "Or He's going to kill me," Alexia kept her hands up. "So. You joined them," Alexia said. "I didn't have a choice," Draco said. "You always have a choice," Alexia yelled. "I didn't" Draco yelled back. "How?" Alexia shouted. "You told me I'm not a Death eater! And now you're one?" Alexia said. "That's not fair," Draco said. "What's not fair is ignoring me for sixth months," Alexia said. "You think I wanted to?" Draco said. "Did it look like you cared?" Alexia questioned. "I care about youmore than anyone in the world," Draco said loudly. "Oh? Then why are you trying to kill me?" Alexia asked. "Because," Draco shouted. "My father made me vow my life to the Dark Lord," Alexia put her right hand down, and reached in her pocket. "What does that have to do with anything?" Alexia asked loudly. "His main goal is to kill you and Potter," Draco said. Alexia quickly drew her wand. "Expelliarmus," She shouted. His wand knocked out of his hand and into Alexia's. She pointed her wand at him to make him back up. She walked him over to a chair. "Sit," Alexia said. Draco sat quickly. The tone of Alexia's voice was not good. "I've got some questions for you," Alexia said. "Shoot away," Draco said nervously. "Why'd you leave our date?" Alexia asked sternly, raising her eyebrows. "My father told me to end the relationship before I got too attached because we needed to kill you," Draco said with no difficulty. "Where did you go every night?" Alexia asked, moving on. "Malfoy Manor. Like I said. Voldemort was talking about his plans to kill you," Draco said. "Why did you tell me you were going with Astoria?" Alexia asked. "I just told you," Draco said. "Why Astoria? Why not Daphne, or Pansy?" Alexia said. Draco looked confused for a little bit, then smiled at Alexia. "Were you jealous?" He asked. "No," Alexia said, snorting. "You sure about that?" Draco said. "Okay fine. Maybe a little bit," Alexia said. "You like me," Draco said. "Moving on," Alexia said quickly. She pulled up a chair and sat on it. She lowered her wand, but didn't put it away. "Are you a Death Eater?" Alexia asked. "They were planning onme becoming one tonight," Draco answered. "Do you want to be one?" Alexia asked. "No," Draco said. "But isn't that going to be a problem? He'd be after you, me, and Harry," Alexia said. "Not if we run away," Draco said. "Where they'll never find us," Alexia snorted. "Their bound to find us," Alexia said. "Then let's leave the country," Draco said. "Where would we go?" Alexia asked. "America," Draco said, shrugging. "Do you really just want to leave your family?" Alexia asked. "We could start our own family. But first, I have to take you on a proper date," Draco said. Alexia smiled. "Promise you won't run off this time?" Alexia asked. "Promise," Draco said. He then leaned in and kissed her.
