Definitions & Distinctions
There are two types of water; freshwater & saltwater. The soil pH is not an issue & no watering or drainage is needed. However, they will still need sunlight. To repot, use the Levitation Charm & ensure your wand is not under water. If harvesting while the plant is submerged, use pruning shears. You cannot use the Severing Charm because of how light alters the distance in the water.
Arrowhead (Sagittaria Sagittifolia) & Aquagius Root (Taxodium Aquagius), & Fairy Ferns (Incarvillea Lysienne)
Arrowhead plants are emerged but some leaves are submerged. It can grow at a steady pace & are classified as invasive or aggressive. It grows between six inches to three feet tall & needs full sunlight with nearly any pH soil. Arrowhead flowers are used for the Drying Draught, while the leaves & stem is used for dementia & Alzheimer's experimental potions. The Aquagius Root plant is emergent & magical. Its roots grow between three inches to one foot tall & any sunlight will do. It needs a alkaline soil with a pH balance of 7.0 to 8.0. The protrusions are used for a mini water supply. Its magical power is that is seems to refill itself of water. Fairy Ferns are not ferns & are known for its luminescent flowers each time a full moonlight appears. They need either partial sunlight, full sunlight, or full shade & will not open up unless surrounded by the Darkening Charm. Fairy Ferns blossoms are used for perspective potions & are easy to repot. Avoid harvesting under a new moon, as it will decrease the effects of the ingredients. When harvesting, snip from the fronds & leave the ferns so it can reproduce.
Marsh Marigold (Kingcups) & Water Hyacinth (Eichhornia Crassipes)
Marsh Marigolds are mundane plants that are emersed in water. This plant loves shoreline soil & needs a pH balance of 6.5 acid soil. Full sunlight & partial sunlight is also needed. Its leaves are used for boils & rashes potions, while its flowers are used to treat anemia in potions. Water Hyacinth plants need full sunlight or partial sunlight & are emersed in water. If pre-sprouted, pluck it out of the water, as they float. Avoid currents due to being swept away. This plants' roots are used in antidotes, water purification concoctions, & gas potions to reduce smog. When grounded into powder, it is used for anti-hemorrhaging potions. Its flowers are used for scent or for taste in potions.
