Hey everyone, it’s gonna be a really short chapter since I’ve got a party to go to at 7 o’clock tonight (5-19-23) and I’ve got to get ready, so I’ll make the next chapter longer to make up for it :)

Hermione’s 3rd person POV
Hermione woke up with Fred next to her, he was worried for her and hadn’t left her side all day and into the night. Hermione didn’t know what happened and was a bit thrown off since she didn’t know where she was, who she was with or how long she’d been out cold. She kept her eyes closed but Fred knew she was awake now.
“Hey Boss, everyone else is off getting to know each of their partners. Ron’s going to request you, you should request him back.” Hermione quickly realized it was Fred next to her and smiled a little. Hermione had a lot running through her mind at the moment but she spoke without thinking, and said the think at the front of her mind.
“And leave you marry “Lav-Lav”? No effing way, what happened to me anyway?” Hermione asked him. Hermoine knew she couldn’t let Fred marry Brown, even if it meant she’d have to marry him instead.
“You passed out after learning I’m your partner. Everyone else thought it was a joke until they read our letters. And don’t worry about me marrying Brown, I won’t do it and then I’ll face the consequences, not that big of a deal.” Fred stated, almost convincing Hermione he didn’t care but she knew better. Hermione was also secretly ok with marrying Fred, she knew that Ron’s her boyfriend and she should want to marry him instead, but she really, really didn’t want to marry Ron.
“Oh, come on Fred! I’m not letting you get married to Brown or go to Azkaban Prison,” she really couldn’t believe that he had suggested that, “I’ll just tell Ron not to request me, give me one minute,” Hermione finished, walking away from Fred and into the yard to aparate away.
