Potion to improve mood


 



 


Ingredients


2 cups of rose petals


1 cup fresh mint leaves


1 cup sunflower seeds


1/2 cup valerian root


1/4 cup elderflower


1/4 cup licorice root


1/4 cup ginger root


1 tablespoon of honey


 


Method of preparation: 


 


In a mortar, grind the rose petals and mint leaves until they are finely crushed.


Add the sunflower seeds and grind again until fine.


In a pot, add 4 cups of water and heat over medium heat.


Add the valerian root, elderflower, licorice root, and ginger root to the pot and bring to a boil for 15 minutes.


Add the crushed herb mixture to the water and boil for another 5 minutes.


Strain the mixture and add a tablespoon of honey to sweeten.


Let cool and pour the potion into a dark glass bottle.
