When I went to sleep that very last night, I wasn't expecting everything to change. I was expecting to come back from Egypt one week later and return to the normal life I now led. I was nervous to go to another country by myself, but there was also an unmistakable thrill inside of my bones.

The next morning I hopped onto the plane, feeling scared. I was 200% nervous and 300% excited, if that makes any sense, but I still managed to fall asleep when the plane started to move. About three or four hours later, a shaking of the plane awoke me. I figured it was just turbulence, so I closed my eyes again. But then I felt the unmistakable feeling of falling. I peered out of the window and almost had a heart attack. We were heading towards the ground at about 3000 miles per hour. I closed my eyes and prayed that I would die quickly, but when we were about three feet from the ground everything stopped.

I was being carried through the clouds, and strong arms surrounded me. I was holding happiness in my fingers. I closed my eyes and fell into the deepest sleep I had ever been in.
