I am writing my Charms journals in so that if any year 1 student needs help with their charms journals they can get some information from mine. Please no plagiarism. If you are going to use my journals please put it in your own words. Im only writing them so you can get an idea on what you should write about.

Chapter 1
Today I learned about the Essential Laws and some of the History of Charms, the Discovery of the Wands and I also learned the Wand-Lightning and Wand-Extinguishing charm.
I learned that in the ancient times magic was used more freely and openly than what it is today. Back then, anyone under the age of 17 falls within the guidelines of Decree for the Reasonable Restriction of Underage Sorcery established in 1875. The Wand-Lightning charm is a simple spell which will illuminate the tip of your wand. To do the Wand-Extinguishing spell you need to keep the wand movement in mind, and don't focus too hard or the tip of your wand will turn a scarlet. Too little charge and it will be a pearly white. You near to aim for a light yellow colour.
