"Stupid girl, wake up!" Nessie's dad slurred at 3 A.M. Today is my birthday she thought, not that it mattered, no one ever said 'happy birthday' in this tiny 2 room apartment. "A letter came for you... Dunno who it's from... Dunno who would ever write to you..." Nessie assumed it was a letter wanting her overdue manga she checked out. She went to the kitchen table and saw an envelope made of heavy parchment  'Nessie Shockwave 37 Spooner Street, Quahog Rhode Island' (If you get that reference *high five*) Nessie opened the letter. It said something about Hogwarts. Wizarding and September first. She read it so fast. At the end there was a P.S.  Hagrid will be waiting for you at London City Airport. Look for the tallest man in there. Have fun, see you at Hogwarts. That night, Nessie went to the library and bought plane tickets for August 15 to the closest place to a small motel. 

    3 days Nessie said to herself. It was August 12. The next couple of minutes passed quickly, until her drunken father walked in. Then her and the dad have the frick frack.
