The next morning went straight into insane chaos. Silent chaos of course. Kiote was dead. Strangled by Roses, obviously making too much noise in the night and they had been able to find her. That’s why I don’t sleep. Fiche was crying-we knew he was in love with her. But me and Toake just looked blank. Only 3 of us left and soon to be 2 with the noise Fiche was making. Quiet but Loud. Load but Quiet. And yes there it was. The earth opened up and took Fiche with it. We didn’t even try to save him. He was lost. If we tried we’d be lost too. 2 left. Once a tribe of 100, now 2.
