I started by planting the root cutting I managed to obtain of a Chocolate Cosmos, since that is the only way to propagate or grow a new plant. After making my styrofoam cup well drainable by poking a hole in the bottom, I filled the cup with a mixture of soil and organic fertilizer. I then provided it with its first very deep watering to get the soil nice and moist, but not to moist. I placed the cup in a semi-deep dish and placed it in a windowsill where it can get as much sun as possible.
