The First Week

Chapter 1

As the crazy nasty-ass honey badger that i am, i simply do not give a fuck. That is probably why i started brewing my own potions at week one. It did not go well.

At least the mix had no lasting effects, i think. However, it was pretty disgusting. Here in Iceland it is very hard to tell the difference between herbs useful for tea and the ever so unpleasant torn moss.

One of my potions succeeded however, and here is the recipe:

Northernpine vitality potion

Ingredients:

1. Water

2. Mint

3. Food coloring: green (optional but i use green to mark potions meant for everyday consumption)

4. Egg

5. pine needles

Instructions:

1. boil the water and pine needles gently, the amount off pine needles is optional, but 120 grams are reccommended.

2. Add the mint when the water is well boiling.

3. stir gently.

4. add the egg to the mix and soft boil it.

5. get the eggshell of without damaging the egg itself.

6. put the egg back in until it is hard boiled.

7. add the food coloring before removing the egg.

8. filter the pine needles and peppermint out of the mixture.

9. cool the potion overnight.

remember to use a well marked jar to store the potion in.
