I sighed, sitting down in History of Magic. "Well, this'll be fun..." I grumbled. Just as professor Binns began in his long, drawling voice, I drifted off, looking out the window.

   "Captain! We've got a good ship coming, she's loaded with gold!" I stood in the door to captain London's cabin. 

   "Good." she stood up from her desk.

   "Ready the stabilizers, Blix, we're going to need to stay afloat in the clouds long enough without falling." she said. I saluted. 

   "Yes ma'am!" I scurried off to the engine room. 

   "Oi! Chase! Stabilizers!" I hollered down to Chase, our engineer. 

   "Aye aye, Blix." He was my age, somewhere around 13. We were all orphans, me and the whole crew. Even the captain, who had rescued us from awful workhouses. I ran to my station, down at a laser canon. Captain London came down to us, and told us our plan of attack. 

   "As usual, don't kill or hurt anyone. Just scare, and let them bring the gold to us." she smoothed out her skirts and turned to leave. I don't know why she still wore skirts. Even I've turned to trousers. Although, I guess SHE doesn't have to climb the rigging. I charged the laser cannon, preparing to shoot for the other ships solar sails, which would keep it in one spot. I waited silently, listening for London's command to fire, and the bell rang.

Bell?!

I jolted out of my chair. Class was over, sadly. I was just about to fire.
