Cottismore Croyne

Chapter 16

Cottismore Croyne was once Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards, and at some point was awarded an Order of Merlin during his time in the position. Not much is known about his early life other than that he received his magical education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An avid supporter of education, Cottismore Croyne visited a multitude of wizarding schools when he wasn't holding meetings for the International Confederation of Wizards. During one of his trips to Hogwarts, he requested to have his portrait painted in the castle and had a magical artist paint him during his visit. The portrait depicts Croyne posing with his wand in a chair in a hallway of the middle courtyard.

Today, his portrait can be found next to the entrance of the very same hallway. If a student is willing to listen, Croyne will enjoy recounting his travels and times as Supreme Mugwump to them. He will even recall specific tales such as having dinner with all the headmasters and headmistresses of the European wizarding schools during his time.
