Well, think about it. They had the MAURADERS MAP. Didn't they think it was a little strange when they saw the name 'Voldemort' hanging around Quirrell? And didn't they see their sister disappear to unknown areas of the castle? And didn't they think it was odd that Ron was sleeping with a dead guy? They could've been heros... but oh well!
