Geniuses

Chapter 11

Geniuses, some people see
As oddballs just about to crack,
'Though Einstein might well disagree
If he were here to answer back.

Since history always proves them wrong,
Why do these stubborn folks insist
That geniuses do not belong
And ban them from their social list?

A moron thus may save his face:
"The mind of genius is ill.
"With normal minds, that's less the case;
"So my mind must be saner still."

A person who has gone insane
Takes solace in his misery.
His lunacy he can explain:
"I am a genius!" says he.

We jealous folks whose tongues are quick
To mock the great should save our voice
Or else between a lunatic
And moron we must make our choice.
