My name is Cody Black and it's my first year at Hogwarts. My mum and dad are dead and now I am in Hogwarts.This was a sad and emotional experience. It still haunts me to this day.

I was born at the towns hospital and my mum and dad has seen me for the first time. My mum and dad were smiling at each other. After along snuggle my mummy and daddy drove back home. To get home we have to cross a long and noisy bridge then past ember street with a dark alley by it, and finally on mort street there was our small cosy house. We got home and mummy put me in my new bed. I cuddled up to a blanket and dozed off to sleep.

Time soon past and I was growing by the minute. Mash bananas turned to bananas. Breast milk turned to plain milk and napping like a cat turned to sleeping for 20 minutes. My age grew and I was a new me.

I was finally seven and we were driving over to the theatre by the dark alley. We got out of the car and walked over to the movies. We were watching SpongeBob Squarepants adventure movie. I walked into the dark room with a small box of hot tasty popcorn, a very small chocolate bar and a massive grin on my face. The dark darkened and then a flash of light hit the screen. It was amazing! I stared at the screen as colourful shapes went up and down the screen. The credits was on and we finally left. The movie was great. I was also happy about the food. I was full of popcorn and sugar. I was bacically bouncing of the walls.

We went over to the car and got in when dad heard a loud noise coming from the alley. Dad told me to stay here with mummy. Dad suddenly saw a big man holding a little lady. 'Where's the money', boomed the man. 'Leave her alone!' shouts dad. The man stared at dad fiercely then turned his back at him. Dad clenches his fist then strikes. He smashes his fist into the man's face then he kicks him between the legs. The man lets the lady go. She bows at daddy then quickly zips away. The man grabbed his pistol and tries to shoot dad. He misses the first two shots them at the next he gets dad. Luckily, I wasn't watching, I would be very upset. The man walks out of the dead end. My mum notices and tells me to get into the car quickly. I wonder what's happening? My mum told me to sit in the car with her. So I stared at her warily. She grabbed her cell phone and texted 111. She called. Beep, beep, beep...'hello', said a police woman. 'Hello', said mum, 'a man with a pistol has attacked my husband on ember street in a dark alley'. 'Ok', said the police woman, we'll be there right away. Then she hung up happily. Mum looked at me with a big smile. Everything's going to be all right. I was still quite confused.
