I shake my head.

I let out a slow breath. I know Josh wouldn't lie. He seems exited with the fact that we're on our own. 

  "Where's everybody?"

 " Asleep, mate! It's two AM!" 

I turn to face the dusty racks of trophies, and I know I'll never get to brandish my teams colors, get cheered on by a magnificent crowd, or win prizes for useless tasks. I'll always be a stupid little boy. And to think, I'm almost of age! 

But before I have tome to warn him, before he has time to react, a killing curse hits Josh square in the back . He's lifted off his back and then is still. A junior death eater is standing, brandishing his wand. I catch his eye, and I'm his next target.
