September 1: The sorting Ceremony

"Oh my god! Oh my god, oh my god!! I'm here. I'm really here. I'm at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!!" I exclaimed happily as I had existed the train. My pet owl Pigwidgeon was in her cage as well. As everyone in the first year was off the train, their pets with them, I had looked around seeing a huge castle-like building in front of me.

"Wow.. What is that place.. It looks huge!!" I had said under my breath

The boy standing next to me over heard and smiled, whispering back to me "Welcome to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." He said. " My name is Broc." he added on.

I was just about to introduce myself as we were escorted inside the school and into the Great Hall and before the start of term feast, in front of everybody. I looked around the room seeing everyone just staring at us new first years. As we was escorted to the front of the room, where Professor Dumbledor and all his other professors was, I saw that there was a chair in the middle of the stage with a lady standing next to it, I knew from the way that the horn was being blown and everyone was silent that it was time to being the Sorting Ceremony.

When it was my turn to be sorted, the women, Professor Minerva had called my name. I was a bit scared but I went to stand up in front of everyone. I faced the audience watching and sat in the chair. She then placed the Sorting Hat on top of my head and started to see which house I fall under, calling out the characteristics and traits that I have.

"Values Intelligance. Good."

I sat still, staying silent as he spoke.

"Also values knowledge. Good, good."

"And you also value witts. Very good. Yadomura, Ayano, you will do well in House Ravenclaw."

That was it, and his words are final. I thanked the hat and stepped down. And as I did so, I heard the cheers and claps from the students already in their houses. Most of the cheers and claps was coming from those who was in House Ravenclaw themselves.

When the feast was over, I immediately went into my house and went into my dorm, putting my things on my bed and then left to start exploring the entire school.
