My First Detention. :-)

September 8th, 1998 (cool)
Rather than lesson notes, I haven't been actually recording my "Memoirs of Hogwarts" lately, it's been a week now...
I'm in detention, writing this–well, half-writing. My hand has to swap between writing letters of apology to the DADA Professor and Celine Patterson, who I set to sleep with my sleeping ball.
After 5 days of experimenting, I managed to make this gas that sends you to sleep!
1.Mix Sleeping Draught and Muggle sleeping draught my father has for Muggles in cauldron.
2.Mix together, add some lavender oil I got from home while mixing counter-clockwise(don't be too fast; be slow, remember how you ended up on the floor, missed a class, and got burnt the elventh time)
3.Leave to boil under low fire (or BOOM goes ya face! Ouch...)
4.While boiling, take bunsen burner, and burn/fry/whatever Muggle Sleeping pills (the whitish kind with the red kind), add a few drops of remaining Sleeping Draught and sauté quickly while waving wand 'til it goes pfftszz! (Please wear goggles or go semi-blind for half an hour.)
5.Extinguish fire under cauldron, add sleeping pill mixture, wave wand, step back (wayyy back, remember the sixth time you experimented?) and Incendio! as much as you can.
6.After about 3 secs (be no more remember the eighth time?) quickly extinguish fire and take remaining mixture into sleeping ball.
7.Attach flint and steel to ball. Close tightly when not using.
Activation: Pull steel switch. This will open the lid on the tiny ball, and the flint and steel will be like "Incendio!" and sleeping gas will come out (hold breath. The final experiment you knew worked because you fell asleep yourself.)
After that I tested it out on Patterson...and it worked (albeit I later discovered it only works for 11 minutes, and lets out a transparent gas sliiightly tinted with purple).
Well, I forgot to keep calm and fake-alarmed, so Professor Silvr~ Oh Darn, how do I erase ink? I had to swap back to writing letters of apologies. But I'm certainly not sorry, of course! Well, I AM sorry about having to write the letters, and sitting in detention with some Weirdo Third Year I don't know, I'm sorry for myself; so yeah, I am sorry. For me, Mondiecee. Well, I'll tape down my DADA notes:
Verdimillious: Shoots out green sparks which will cause a slight stinging pain for your opponent. If you want to light up a room, say the incantation and wave your wand in a circular motion on top of your head. For a minute, hidden objects that have been hidden with magic, will be revealed.
Spongify Softening Charm: when casted, your target will become soft and rubbery. Move your wand in a "S" motion.
Arella, (she loves pranks, too!!!) one of the friends I made, (come to think of it, the only friend I made so far) is getting very good at Spongify.
Wait...THE THIRD YEAR JUST SNEAKED AWAY!!!!! OI, I NEED TO REPORT HIM!
Oh, it turned out the Third Year wasn't sneaking out, he went to use the lavatory, and he was actually let out! I can't believe the professor believed him! (HOW biased. -.-) and he won't let meeeeeee out. Unfair. I'll bet the Third Year is having fun at Hogsmeade and drinking Butterbeer, and becoming happily drunk and will never come back 'till dinner.
Oh, wait, I haven't even finished half my first letter of apo/
Later today at my dorm.
Well, I was caught writing about how biased that woman was and that sneaky third year weirdo (I'm not bothering giving his name capitals anymore) and I was given DOUBLE DETENTION!!!!!! Okay, so I don't like detention, but at least I was put in detention for a REASON at first! I mean, I was only writing the TRUTH about them. Meh, it's 10 PM now, I should be asleep, but I need my revenge. (Unlikely I'll get it, because the professors are smart and magical). Another thing, the third year total sneaky weirdo never came back. Meh. I'll go write letters for Mother and Dorinda again. Too sleepy for a ToDoList. Goodnight.
