They crept into Dumbledore's office. As quiet as mice, they slipped past the Gargoyle (he was sleeping) who left the stairway open, and violently seized the machine and ran off. Luckily it was good as new and made no noise. The only problem was, where were they going to hide it.

Suddenly, Helen had an idea.

"We'll hide it in the Room of Requirement!"

It was decided after many whispered arguments that they would hide it in the Room of Requirement.

They slowly crept to the Room of Requirement but as soon as they got inside, the machine suddenly made a whirring noise and started spinning. It dragged all four of them inside and before they knew it, they were out......and on the floor. They were still in the Room of Requirement, but it was unrecognizable, the lights were floating orbs of light, the books were floating on their own and the machine had disappeared!

What were they going to do now?

They slowly tip-toed to the door and found that Hogwarts had changed. The signs on the wall were holographic and the floors were porcelain marble. The walls were a strange purple stone and the school uniform had changed so much, they didn't even know where they were!

All they did know was, they had time travelled!
