First we will start with learning a bit about the broomstick. Broomsticks come in all different shapes and sizes but really its the wood that matters. The Clean Sweep for instance the wood is from a maple tree. Broomstick makers strip it polish it then they cast the flying spell on it. The Firebolt is made differently. The wood is from a golden beech tree. The golden beech tree is very rare and expensive.  Instead of striping it first they cast the flying spell on it . Next they strip it and coat it in the sap from the golden beech tree and polish it and last but not least they cast the spell on it again. Now this is onky the wooden part. During this book you will learn how to make your own broomstick and fly it. We will go over the rules of Quidditch plus we'll learn about famous Quidditch player Victor Krum.
