"Please sit down." Professor Snape says as he motions towards the chair by his desk.

I sit down and see my hands are shaking. I put them in my robe to hide the nervousness. 

"Listen I know you have detention but I thought that this might be the prefect time to tell you something that may come to you as a shock." He says

I roll my eyes and look around the room when I don't even think I just get up and start to walk out the room when. My hand is on the door knob when he decides to yell something at me. 

"I am your father!" Professor Snape says

I turn around right as I am by the door and look at him. 

"I met your mother on our first year here at Hogwarts. She was a Gryffindor while I was a Slytherin. We didn't get together until our 7th year. We got together after school and started to plan out a wedding. Then before the wedding your mother had you. we canceled the wedding so she would have time to take care of you. That is when I decided to be a death eater. Then I heard that Voldemort was going to go after your mother so I told her to hide somewhere safe. She ran with to London, England. I was trying to see her when I heard that Voldemort had changed his course and went after the Potters. I was in a situation that I couldn't get out of. Then I heard that Voldemort knew where your mother and you were staying and sent Bellatrix Lestrange after your mother and you. Then I heard that your mother was dead after Voldemort was gone. I was devastated. I couldn't think, move, or do anything. So I ask Dumbledore nicely to take you to the Leaky Cauldron. After all I thought that what child would want to see their dad after he abandoned them to join the Dark Lord." he says

I don't think again. I just get up and run out of the room. I run up the stairs to the roof and make a ladder out of my ice powers. I climb to the top and all I know is that I stayed up there for a very long time or for at least it feels like it. I think I stayed up there for that night and until the next two days. I realize that it has been a couple of days and that everyone must be worried sick about me, but I don't even care. I wanted to die right up there and forget everything. I got up and walked to the edge of the roof and looked down feeling a little rebellious. 

"You are not going to jump are you?" someone says behind me

I look around and see my father standing there. 

"What?" I ask him.

"You are not going to jump off the edge are you?" he says again

"No, but I am feeling a little rebellious and want some adventure." I say as I turn around and jump off the roof.

I fall towards the ground. Right as I am ten feet from the ground I use my ice powers and fly. I fly to the sky feeling the wind in my loose curly hair.  For the first time I feel so much joy fill me up as the grief of everything that has happened in my life escapes me. I feel like I have just seen something amazing. I make a snow pile and land on it gently. I get up to find my Father and Professor McGonagall running towards me.

"Do you realized what could of happen if you fell all the way down. I could see a Slytherin doing that but not a Gryffindor. You should be ashamed of yourself. You could of dyed." Professor McGonagall says all worried. 

"You should of never have done that you could be expelled." My father says

"You are going to see Professor Dumbldore immediately. He must know of this absurd behavior. Come with me Elyse." Professor McGonagall says

I follow Professor McGonagall to Professor Dumbledore's office.
