Ingredients
There are many ingredients that are used but today I would like to cover what are the types of Ingredients before we go any further. Here are the types Mundane, Magical, and Transitional.
Mundane
Mundane ingredients are ingredients that possess no magical quantity at all. An example of an ingredient like this would be roses or ginger which are used in Potions to ease digestive problems.
Magical
Magical Ingredients are basically self-explanatory, but just in case. Magical ingredients are ingredients that possess a magical power within. An example of this would be Lethe River Water, which causes memory loss and death in extreme cases to anyone that drinks it.
Transitional
Ingredients that possess no magical power until they are used with a magical ingredient. An example of this would be dragonfly thoraxes that are not magical until they are used in conjunction with a magical ingredient inside of a potion. This may seem confusing, but trust me you will get the hang of it!
