It feels like it has been forever since I have been here. I sit at the Slytherin table and wait. Maddy pokes me. "Are you excited yet, Maya?". I tell her, "Yeah, but I really can't wait until we get to eat, I haven't ate since we were on the train." She laughs, "Yeah, me too!"  Dumbledore started speaking. The sorting hat had put twenty new people into our house, so it was really fascinating. I really enjoyed the feast and ate a lot. We went back to our common room. When I entered I found a small package on my bed, addressed to me, so I opened it. Out popped a snake looking thing that broke into flames in mid-air. I screamed "Fuck!" because some of it touched my hair.
