Here is a chapter dedicated to the Azkaban trials Harry witnissed when he first used to the pensieve. It is told from what Rita Skeeter, who was an editor of the time, published to The Daily Prophet. 

In a room full of people, it was hard to know who to believe, writes Rita Skeeter, Daily Prophet. 

Of course Bartemis Crouch, Minister for magic was there. Everybody has said that Crouch cared more about his job than his own wife and son, which is true. They also say he'll cart anybody off to Azkaban, as long as it makes him look good.

The first person is coming in. His name is Kakaroff. According to my reliable sources, he would've done anything for You-Know-Who once. Now that his old master has gone, he's been trying to convince everyone that he is innocent.

Well, then he says he has names of Death Eaters. Well, Crouch dismisses him pretty quickly, until he says something of importance. "Severus Snape!"

Well, of course, the old codger Dumbledore immediately jumps down Kakaroff's neck, yelling at him. Some people would he's completely off his rocker.

But then, all of a sudden Kakaroff yells "Barty Crouch Jr!" and everybody freezes. Dumbledore, happy to have Kakaroff's back off Snape, sinks back into his chair. This was the moment everyone had been waiting for. To see if he loved his son more than his job.

His little wife is weeping beside him.

Of course, he doesn't care about her, so he hardly even takes notice.

And what do you know, he carts his own son off to Azkaban.
