Rosmerta Bode sat on her bed that was half broken and made of wood. She stared up at the sky awaiting an owl to deliver her acceptance letter. Rosmerta was a pureblood and was destined to be in Slytherin. Voldemort (He-who-must-NOT-be-named) was her father, however she changed her name due to embarrassment and displeasure she received from her wizarding friends. She stood up and punched a flower pot down. She couldn't help thinking about what her father had done to Lily and James Potter and what he had done to her. Rosmerta held her neck tightly as the pain grew worse. Then it came. A small brown flying silhouette came to her window. Rosmerta slowly opened the window and in flew an owl holding a small letter. On the letter it read:  Dear Miss Rosmerta Bode, we are pleased to inform you that you have been invited to Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft And Wizardry. Term starts on 1st of September. Please collect all the listed equipment from Diagon Alley. We hope to see you soon. Rosmerta giggled whilst jumping up and down when a lock sound came from her door. Quickly, she hid her letter under her pillow and got into bed. The door creaked open and in came two hooded figures with eyes like the devil. "You got your letter yet?" The tall one asked. 

"No, Alastor Bagman..." lied Rosmerta. The two hooded figures had a silent debate. "We heard loud jumping noises..." replied the one at the back.

"I fell over Mr Cassius Davis" lied Rosmerta again. The two men left but the door stayed open. The shack they were staying in was owned by a muggle and now Rosmerta's mother, Elladora Filch, was ordered by the hooded figures (Death Eaters) to murder him. Rosmerta was alone.
