Hello New Routine!

Chapter 3

Okay! We have covered the basic basics! Now let's work on your new morning and night routines. I am going to give you all mine first just to give you an example, and then we can unpack and make your routine. 


5:30- Wake up and lay in bed with music (Not scrolling through my phone!)


6:00- Get up and make my bed


6:05- Do skincare and get dressed


6:20- Stretch and Workout 


6:40- Make and eat breakfast


7:00- Journal, plan the day and clean my room


7:30- Go to work


So this is my routine and I love it! It took me a very long time to create a routine that I loved and that worked for me! I love starting my day with music! My life revolves around music! I sit in silence and think. Then I get up and make my bed. Making your bed is so important. It is something quick and easy and you have already accomplished something! My skincare is pretty simple. I plan on upping my game soon though. I just haven't had a lot of time on my hands. I use Mad Hippie and I LOVE their company! I do my cleanser, witch hazel, and then my face cream. I also use a jade roller and gua sha stone every morning and night. I am a jazz dancer, tap dancer, and theater girl so stretching is important to me. I just your basic stretching routine, nothing special. For my workout, I have an app called Female Fitness- Woman Workout. The workouts are short, so I can do a lot of then and they work! I have a little journal which I love! I just do a little five-minute journal type method.  


Here is my night routine:


7:00- Take a shower 


7:45- Get out of the shower and do skincare 


8:00- Blow dry my hair 


8:50- Get in pjs


9:00- Scroll on my phone 


9:15- Read 


9:45- Lights out


Okay, let's talk about this one! So I take showers every other day. So, on other days I just skip this. And yes, I love long showers! One day a week I will have a spa night! This means bath, face mask, etc. Then I do my skincare which is the same as my morning routine. Blowdrying my hair takes forever! I have a TON of hair! Some nights I will just do overnight curls. I scroll on my phone so that I am not tempted to do this as I am falling asleep. I read the book I am currently in. (Right now that is Sense and Sensibility and To Kill a Kingdom.) When I am ready to sleep, which is usually around 9:45 and 10:00, I turn all my lights off, snuggle under my covers, and turn on some music in the background.
