A bezoar stone is a common potion ingrediant. It is extracted from the stomach of a goat. It is used in many antidotes, for it can save you from poison. It is not only used in magic potions, but used by Muggles as well. In magic, it is used as an antidote, but in the Muggle world, it is commonly used as decorations, such as jewelry and hollowed out to create round boxes studded with gold. Muggles don't understand the power of the stone, but we do.
