I woke up to sunlight streaming through the dormitory windows. I sat up and dressed quickly. I then headed down to the Great Hall for breakfast. After breakfast, everyone went to their first lessons. I had Potions first. Professor Snape, the potions master, seated us and started by telling an introduction about potions. I thought Snape was going to be a nice teacher, but I was wrong. He was very bad tempered and loved giving anyone that wasn't in his house (Slytherin) detentions. I did as I was told and when I got things right, Snape scowled. I guess he wanted me to do horribly. After Potions, I headed toward the Herbology greenhouses on the school grounds outside.
