Ottery St. Catchpole & Tinworth


Ottery St. Catchpole was founded in 1693 & is located in Devon, England. Some Muggles live here & did not burn many witches. Famous families consists of the Weasleys, the Scamanders, the Fawcetts, & the Trebonds. This village is the most populated of wizards. Tinworth is located in Cornwall, England & the Muggles who live here are accustomed to strange things in town. Tinworth is not popular among the magical folk, but has coastal sites & is very remote. Famous wizards consists of Bridget Wenlock, Celestina Warbeck, Peregrin Tugwood, & many other members of the Tugwood family. Ms. Wenlock liked to write magical theories all over town, but did not reveal the wizarding world to the Muggles.


Upper Flagley & the Process of Town Recognization


Upper Flagley was founded in the 1600s & is located in Yorkshire, England. This town is partially magical, as Muggles live here as well. Upper Flagley hosts about one thousand magical folks with a close-knit community. The most significant families who live here are the Morgans, the Smiths, & the McKinnons. Since 1692, the Ministry of Magic sends a census form to the magical folk of every city, village, & town. The data collected are to compare the overall population (including Muggles) to see if the town meets the requirements to become official. All official towns are then listed in the yearly census report.


Fun Facts
Wizard families vacation in Tinworth with their unstable magic children, which causes accidental magic & some Muggles have caught a glimpse.
Muggles in Upper Flagley don't bother to look closer at research of magical roots, but it's always a challenge to watch yourself when practicing spells & enchantments.
The Ministerial Wizarding Register Department can access records & files containing troublemakers & underage folks with the Trace to determine if any residences belong to a magical family or home.
Odd buildings, unidentified noises, & funny weather do not bother the Muggles living in Ottery St. Catchpole.
