Another year has started and I'm going to put even more effort into my studies.

October 31st, 1992

Dear Diary, the Chamber of Secrets, the one built by Salazar Slytherin, has been opened! Legend has it that within the chamber lies a creature capable of expelling all Mudbloods children of Muggles from the school, as Slytherin thought they were unworthy of learning and practising magic. Legend says that only the heir of Slytherin can open the chamber, who will it be?

I already know what I want to be when I leave Hogwarts, an Auror.

February 13th, 1993

A year ago, I wrote here that I was very happy that Hogwarts didn't celebrate Valentine's Day. This year Professor Lockhart wants to celebrate, I hate him, he doesn't know anything he teaches, and I think he's a first-rate fake.

February 14th, 1993

Today I was leaving the library with a huge pile of books and I accidentally bumped into a boy, the most handsome boy I have ever seen (he was a tall and extremely handsome young man, with chiselled features, dark hair and bright grey eyes), it was Cedric Diggory, a Hufflepuff of the same year as me. I apologized but he said there were no problems and he even helped me pick up the books that were scattered on the floor. I think I, a Slytherin, am in love… with a Hufflepuff.

April 14th, 1993

I have been REALLY IN LOVE WITH CEDRIC, which is too bad, my parents will never accept him since he's a Hufflepuff, but even if they did, I know I'll never have a chance, he'll never like me.

June 30th, 1993

I'm going on holiday to Switzerland this year, I need to stop thinking about Cedric, I'm going crazy.

September 02nd, 1993

This summer, Sirius Black, a criminal who was in Azkaban, who killed 12 muggles and a wizard 12 years ago, escaped. No one has ever managed to escape from there. For that reason, this year Hogwarts is full of Dementors (creatures that protect Azkaban), I hope everything goes well. This year is that year, the OWL's year. Teachers today have already started to send several homework assignments and I think there will be many more. But in conclusion, this year with the assignments and the long study sessions, I might not have much time to write, so you know if I don't write for a while, one thing is for sure, I'm going to watch all of Cedric's Quidditch games.

June 20th, 1994

FINALLY, THE SCHOOL YEAR IS OVER!!! There were so many, so many exams, but I managed to survive without any psychological problems, I'm glad I didn't start that study routine this year, otherwise, I think I would have had some problems. This year, unfortunately, I won't travel… because I'm going to watch the Quidditch World Cup, it's going to be incredible. Hope to see Cedric there.
