I'm going to Hogwarts
Chapter 1
August 1st, 1989
Hello my future best friend, I'm Hazel Lenoir. I was born in the north of France on October 18, 1977, so I'm currently 11 years old.
I'm happy, I'm finally going to Hogwarts, the best wizarding school in the world, my parents have been waiting for the letter since I was born, if I were a Squib (a person who is the daughter of wizarding parents but not develops magical powers) at this time he would be in a muggle orphanage.
My father, Jack Lenoir, was born to a witch mother and a muggle father. He never got along with his father, as my father is against a wizard being married to a muggle, even though he was the son of such a couple. He always thought that Muggle children weren't worthy of practising magic (he once told me he bullied Hogwarts with some Mudbloods). He ended up marrying my mother, Dianne Lenoir, who is a witch and the two decided to create a new family tree where there can only be wizards and not muggles and anyone who marries one of them is expelled from the tree and family, where inspired by the Black family tree.
I wanted to tell you more about my life, but I have to go to sleep, tomorrow I'm going to Diagon Alley to buy my new school supplies.
August 3rd, 1989
Yesterday I went to buy my new school supplies and I loved them all, even my cover. My mother gave me an owl to keep in touch with her when I'm at Hogwarts. I named her Belle because she is so beautiful.

I DON'T BELIEVE IT!!! My father is taking me and my mother on a trip to France before going to Hogwarts. It's been so many years since I left there, I was only born there because my parents went on a trip there and I ended up being born. My father knows that land better than I do, for his Muggle father was French. When he was 9 years old the family moved to London and when my dad got married he moved to Scotland (he says it can be colder but it makes up for being away from grandparents). When I get back from the trip, I'll write about it.

I finally got home! This trip took longer than I thought it would. I saw so much that I don't want to go back there anytime soon. I visited several cities in northern France (the main ones, of course). I was sad to have arrived over the date to go to Hogwarts. I have to pack my trunk, put everything in there and I should start reading some of the books I bought for classes, I had to buy:
- Standard Guide to Spells (Year 1) by Miranda Goshawk.
- A History of Magic by Bathilda Bagshot.
- Adalberto Waffling's Theory of Magic.
- Transfiguration Guide for Beginners by Emerico Switch.
- A Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi of Filida Spore.
- Arsenic Jigger's Drinks and Magic Potions.
- Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander.
- The Forces of Darkness: A Guide to Self-Protection by Quintino Trimble.
I think I'll start with "Standard Guide to Spells (1 year)", I need to be good at spells, I don't want the muggle kids who go to my school to be better at casting spells than I am, I should start reading too “Drinks and Magic Potions” because the potions teacher at Hogwarts is the Head of Slytherin, the house I need to stay for my parents' happiness.

I don't think I'm ready to go to Hogwarts, I wish I was still in France. My anxiety has increased since my father said that if I ended up in a house other than Slytherins, they would stop talking to me. My paternal grandmother was in Hufflepuff, but my father with a hatred for mudbloods ended up in Slytherin, since my mother's family was all in Slytherin, except for her great-grandfather who was in Ravenclaw, but still not he was removed from his family tree, not even his parents stopped talking to him forever, they only stayed 1 year without talking to his son, my mother said it wasn't much, but if he had stayed in Gryffindor or Hufflepuff it could have been longer, but she said that at that time they were giving reasonable punishments. I hope you can get in.
Tomorrow I'll take the floo powder network to Diagon Alley, then I'll leave there and walk through the streets of London to King's Cross station, where I have to catch the Hogwarts Express at 11 o'clock on platform 9 ¾, I've been there once when I was too young to go say goodbye to a cousin of mine who was going to enter her first year at Hogwarts, but that was 5 years ago, now she is in her fifth year and she was named Prefect of Slytherin, my parents were happy for her but not it's a big deal if I'm not the mayor of the house, as they never were. I have to go to bed early today, tomorrow is going to be a big day for me.
