Chapter 11
Hello and welcome to the culinary section, which contains enticing recipes that the house elves at Hogwarts will let you cook in the kitchens or that you can try to create at home over the break.
This week, I'll share a recipe for an easy drink that the House Elves from our Hogwarts kitchens generously provided. They have my sincere gratitude.
For this issue's dish, we have butterbeer! 🍻
It turns out that making butterbeer is very simple! I'm going to make a batch for my upcoming Harry Potter movie marathon. There are two methods to prepare this dish. You can flavour the cream soda with butter and caramel extracts if you want to make it taste even more real. It tastes exacticaly like the real thing thanks to this added buttery flavouring.
Use regular cream soda if you want a recipe that is more straightforward. You don't have to spend the extra money on extracts that you will only store in your cupboard and never use again because it still tastes INCREDIBLY delicious. Both approaches taste fantastic to me!
Total time: 10mins
Course: Drink
Servings: 8
EQUIPMENT
- Hand mixer
INGREDIENTS
- 2L cream soda, chilled
- 1/4 tsp caramel extract
- 1/4 tsp butter extract
