Interviews
By Lilly Weasley
Welcome to the second issue of the Hogwarts Magazine. This month, I got to interview Ginny Weasley.
Lilly: A lot of people are probably confused, I have the same surname as you!
Ginny: I noticed that! I suppose it is a coincidence.
Lilly: Anyways, I was very surprised to realise that you said yes to this interview! You do not seem to like these interviews, so what made you say yes?
Ginny: I suppose because none of you want stupid meaningless information like others. They ask me about Harry, and Hermione…. You lot just want to hear me talk about my Hogwarts days, you want to laugh at my jokes not AT me.
Lilly: You are a big inspiration to us all, Ms Weasley. Tell us about your quidditch matches, about the excitement you had before them in the locker room.
Ginny: People don’t understand what I mean when I say that quidditch is my soulmate. It really is. I remember sneaking out to fly around on my brothers' brooms. In the locker room, I had this feeling. I HAD to win, I HAD to be a good chaser but at the same time I thought about my potions exam coming up. Will Luna let me copy her answers? Will I get the time to study? It was very confusing.
Lilly: I understand you do not have much time. So, this will be my final question. Have you ever felt the need to prove yourself as a good student or player or daughter? To show you really are capable?
Ginny: People around me knew I was capable. I did want to prove myself time and time again. As a good player mainly. As a girl, I was usually not allowed to play. As I said, I had to sneak out in the middle of the night and fly. When I got in to the Quidditch team, I showed my parents and my siblings that I was good.
Lilly: Thank you for giving this interview despite your busy schedule, Ms Weasley.
Ginny: Thank you for having me Lilly. It was my pleasure meeting you.
