Charming Spells

Hello and welcome at the Charming Spells section of the second issue of the Hogwarts Magazine! Since spring time is almost here, I thought that the bouquet spell, Orchideous, would fit this perfectly. I have also included Accio in this issue. So let’s dive straight into learning!

Spell: Orchideous

Pronunciation: or-KID-ee-us

How to cast: The movement for this spell is to move one's wand in a circle in the air, with the spell producing a pink light upon casting. The flowers conjured by this spell were usually pink in colour as well.

Spell: Accio

Pronunciation: Ak-SEE-oh

A summoning spell, Accio! brings objects to you. Great for finding something when it's misplaced or, you know, fighting off a dragon during the Triwizard Tournament by Accio-ing your broom right to you, this spell is a fan-favorite for its frequent use and relatability.
