- Chapter 10 -
Snow White had given all the information she could about the queen. The dwarfs wanted to take action but Snow had made up her mind. She didn't want any trouble and she didn’t see the point in invading her ‘once upon a time’ home. She knew how the queen could be, but she didn’t care. Snow White had pure heart, and she wouldn’t destroy that, or let anyone else change that. The queen didn’t know what to do, Snow White was still alive? How? She had used the best poison money could buy, so, how did she survive? The queen had tried to get the townspeople to believe her lies but failed, she had tried going to the cabin in a different disguise, but the dwarfs were there. It was impossible. She ordered that the huntsman be executed just 14 days after Snow White was supposed to die. It wasn’t a public ceremony, because she new the townspeople would not approve.
“Any last words?” laughed the guard.
“Y- Yes..I just wanted to say-”
And he was dead, just like that. The guard didn’t even give him a chance to speak. They buried the body far away from the castle, under a large tree. The queen had thought that disposing of the huntsman would make her feel better but it didn’t. She thought and thought about her options, her plans. However, soon after the execution, the queen was removed from royal duty. The guards searched far and wide to find Snow White and when they found her in that old cabin with the 7 caring dwarfs and the gooseberry pies, they begged her to go back to where she belonged, to the throne. They needed a queen. That's exactly what she did. She stepped up to that throne with the poofy ball dress and the gold crown. She had offered the dwarfs to live in the castle with her but they refused. That cabin was their home, how could they leave? Snow promised to visit them as much as possible. She ruled the town appropriately and released the prisoners from their cells. She earned her respect and love from the townspeople and became one of the best queen’s that that unknown town in the middle of nowhere had ever seen. If you were to look out those castle windows, you could see the roses growing where she almost died. Where Snow had nearly fallen.
