Dear diary,

Okay I know I said I was totally against this journal and that I was going to burn it and I am, it's just, I don't know. Anyways the sorting hat put me in Ravenclaw and here I am now. I joined a dormitory and then went to the showers. i'd only read about the ravenclaw showers and pictured them in my mind but i had no idea they'd be this beautiful! When you shower, it feels like you're floating in a vast galaxy, among the moon and stars. and it's completely soundproof so you can sing to your heart's content. no one has ever heard my voice, i'm too embarrassed. The common room is nice too. Much like the great hall, the roof is enchanted so you can see the stars. I had a hard time getting there because the staircases change. They were hosting something for the first time yesterday. I thought about coming but I was too shy. Besides, I need sleep if I'm going to do well in my classes. which reminds me, I FORGOT TO ENROLL!
