Chapter 16
June 24th, 1980
This was it. This was the day our Thea was born.
You see, Sirius and I had a weird idea of names.
At first, we thought we should name her Pearl after my mother.
Then we thought we should name her Bathsheba, because James suggested it.
Then we decided not to after Lily gave us a death glare.
We even thought of Lily 2.0 or Lily Junior.
Also a no.
But we finally came to a name Alice suggested while speed-reading a book of baby names in the hospital.
Anthea.
It was Greek for flower, and that's exactly what she was.
A St Mungos Healer shooed everybody out of the room except for Sirius.
The nurse took Anthea for some checkups and Sirius strode over to me.
"You doing ok?" he asked.
"Much better now that we have her."
Sirius grinned. "Agreed."

July 31, 1980
Sirius and I dashed into the room.
"Well?" I asked James frantically.
He was pacing around the room.
"He's doing fine," said James reassuringly. "And Lily's just napping a little."
"Alright," I said. "And he's healthy?"
"Yup," said James.
"What's his name?" asked Sirius eagerly. "Bathsheba? Elvendork?"
James shook his head. "Lily wouldn't let me. It's Harry."
I grinned. "Harry James Potter. This kid is going down in history."
And by golly, were we right.
