Class Notes from a Year 1 Hufflepuff
Hi y'all! These are my notes for all the classes in Year 1, I will be starting with Transfiguration and updating everything as I go along! The notes are mostly the main points and things that are needed to study for the assignments. I have done most of these notes to the best of my ability, so here and I hope this helps! (Some of the notes might not be great because they are probably the first lesson and I was very confused lol)

Transfiguration = scientific branch of magic

Four branches of tnfg:
Transformation
Vanishment
Conjuration
Untransfiguration
Formula: t = (w*c/v*a)z
Theoretical formula
Not meant to be solved numerically
Variables & meanings:
T = intended tranfiguration difficulty
W = wand power
C = concentration
v = viciousness
A = mass of beginning object
Z = unkown variable
Only A is actually measurable
Dangerous of tnfg:
dont cast spells u haven’t learned yet
When spells backfire/dont work it prevents items from completing the tnfg
Ex: gills only work halfway, vanish half of u
