"WE WON!" shrieked Ivy and Sage in unison, breaking up the level of calmness and tranquility inside of the Hufflepuff common room.

James let out a whoop, echoed only by Sirius and Peter.

Remus had not come to the after-game party, insisting to Ana that he felt a little ill, while in truth, he wanted some time to figure out how to say what he wanted to say to Ana.

Ana sighed. "And just when I thought it was going to be an easy night."

Lily patted her on the back and Alice simply grinned as Marlene began to disco-dance to a piano piece by Bach.

Soon enough, a conga line had been formed and not only had the calm classical music had been switched to the Muggle hits of the time, it was feeling much more like a typical Gryffindor party.

Ana smirked. "Ok, no matter how much chaos these guys cause, I still love this song," she stated, as Ivy, Sage, Marlene, Sirus, James, and Peter had formed their own conga line and started belting out "Hooked on a Feeling".

Frank caught Alice's eye from far away and joined them on the cushy sofa in front of the Hufflepuff fireplace. 

"Ana," he said, looking like he wanted to be anywhere with books and possibly a nice cup of tea. "Congrats on winning the game. You guys played great. But can I just ask you something?"

"Shoot," Ana said, grinning. 

"Can I please leave?"

"Knock yourself out, you were never obliged to be here," Ana said, giving the poor boy a pat on the back. 

"Thank you," Frank muttered thankfully, then turned to Alice. "Heading to the library. I need quiet. You coming?"

Alice turned pink and nodded. "You don't mind, do you, Ana?"

"Of course not," Ana said. "Anything for my favorite couple."

Alice and Frank scurried off, and Lily chuckled. "I don't think I'm going to last much longer either."

"You can go up to my dorm and crash on my bed, if you want," Ana said. "I might come too."

Lily considered this. "Nail paint and gossip?"

Ana high-fived her. "Duh. I'll be up in 5 minutes. I wanna see how this ends," she said, gesturing to the highly amusing image of Sirius proposing to the boombox.

Lily chuckled and went upstairs to Ana's dorm room.

Now with Marlene, Ivy, and Sage, and the Marauders (excepting Remus) dancing, Lily upstairs, and Alice at the library with Frank, Ana had nothing much to do except watch her friends have fun.

After a few minutes of watching Marlene officiate the wedding between Sirius and the boombox, Ana stretched and let Ivy and Sage know she was heading upstairs.

The twins nodded and congratulated her one more time on the win. 

Ana was about to head up the staircase to the girls dormitories when something completely unexpected happened.
