Welcome to La Casa Miracle
Chapter 2
A knock came on the front door.
"Ana, go get the door!" her mother yelled from upstairs.
Ana walked up to the door and unlocked it.
It was Remus. "Hi Ana!"
"Remmyyyyyyyy!" squealed Ana, delighted and pulling him in for a hug. "You came!"
"Of course I did, you invited me," said Remus with a grin, pulling away from the hug. "Are the others here?"
Ana nodded. "Lily, Al, Mar, Sirius, Pete, and James are all here. We were waiting for you."
Remus smiled. "Thanks for having me over the summer break. It means a lot."
"It's all good, Remus," grinned Ana. "Come in."
"MUM!" Ana yelled from downstairs. "REMUS IS HERE!"
"I'll be down in a second, dear!" her mum yelled back.
Ana grabbed Remus' hand and pulled him towards her room.
She wasn't very wealthy. Her entire family had lived here for a long time. It was a rather broken down home- really a hut with several stories.
"Your house is beautiful," Remus complimented, waving away the fact that the stone was cracked and the roof looked like it was about to cave in.
It looked like it was held up by magic.
It probably was, actually.
Ana pushed open the door to her room.
"Remus!" everyone said, getting up to run and hug him or pat his back.
"We missed you, mate," said James with a toothy grin.
Peter hugged him and Sirius slapped him on the back.
Remus was glad to be with his best friends again.
"Hi Lily, Marlene, Alice!" he said, waving to the three girls sitting on the carpet.
"Hey Remus!" they chimed in unison.
Ana grinned at Remus. "Welcome to la Casa Miracle- the fee is 5 galleons per day."
"Stop teasing him, An," smirked Sirius.
"Alright, alright," sighed Ana. "It's actually 10."
Remus laughed. "What're you guys doing?"
"Being idiots," said Marlene.
"No we aren't," sighed Sirius, ruffling Marlene's hair. "THEY'RE being idiots. We're being sophisticated gentleman."
Ana scoffed. "You were daring each other to see which one of you could jump off my bed the highest without getting severely injured. And when did you get a vocabulary that big, Sirius?"
Sirius gaped at Ana, mock offended. "Miss Miracle! How dare you talk like that to a higher class of human being!"
"I hope you don't mean yourself," said Lily sassily.
"Ooooooooooh," said Marlene. "Lily's getting feisty."
Remus laughed again and sat down next to the Marauders.
"So," said Ana, sitting down next to Remus on her fluffy carpet. She rubbed her hands together pompously. "Board game?"
"Yahtzee!" yelped Sirius.
"I don't even HAVE Yahtzee, Sirius," sighed Ana.
"Parcheesi?" asked James.
"Also don't have that," continued Ana. "But what about Clue?"
Sirius and James nodded eagerly.
"Alright, let's vote on it-" said Ana. "Raise your hand if you wanna play Clue."
Everyone but Marlene raised their hands.
"Why don't you wanna play, Mar?" asked Alice curiously.
"Cuz I wanna be the murderer, not the detective," Marlene whined.
Ana blinked. "As concerned as I am for your health, the odds are in our favor. We're playing Clue."
She pulled out Clue from the top of her bunk bed. "Ok, it says 6 players only, but we can split into teams."
"I'm with James!" said Sirius quickly.
"I'm with Sirius!" added James.
Ana nodded. "Alright- Peter, who'd you wanna be with?"
Peter considered this. "I'd like to get to know Alice more, so Alice."
"Alright, so you and Al are together," concluded Ana. "So we can do Marlene and Lily, because I wouldn't mind being with Remus- if he doesn't mind?"
Remus shook his head. "I don't mind at all."
"Great! We got our teams."
Ana started setting the board game.
James and Sirius started arguing over who their player was gonna be, until Ana finally threw the dice at their faces in frustration.
"Teach me how to do that," said Remus to Ana in admiration.
"Hey!" exclaimed James and Sirius indignantly.
Ana distinctly heard Marlene and Lily mutter, "Boys..."
Alice and Peter, meanwhile, were actually doing some logical thinking and trying to decipher the information.
And there was some real big chaos, lemme tell you.
And they laughed and played together- the whole afternoon.
A/n: that's the end of the first chapter, hoped you guys liked it! :)
