seriously check out her books they're soooooo good :)
Ana was done.
Like literally- done.
When she flopped on the carpet in the boys dormitory, all the Marauders knew something was up.
"What's wrong?" asked Peter kindly.
"I hate my fucking life," grumbled Ana.
"I do too, but there's normally a reason behind it," said Sirius with a grin.
"Do you know how annoying it is to be a girl and be called out in the corridors because they think I look- er- you know what?"
Remus scrunched up his nose. "They do that?"
"You have no idea."
"So I asked Professor McGonagall if I could wear trousers to class instead of a skirt," Ana sighed. "And she said no, because it was against the dress code!"
James rolled his eyes. "Fuckin' unfair."
"I know, right?"
"Someone should do somethng about this stupid anti-feminism," grumbled Remus.
"And I am doing something about it," said Ana with a sudden grin. "If you guys agree to it."
"We agree," they all said in unison.
"You wear skirts tomorrow, and I wear trousers," said Ana proudly.
Sirius applauded dramatically, and then said, "I'd look pretty hot in a skirt."
James rolled his eyes.
Peter snickered.
Remus sighed.
Ana decided to ignore this comment and said, "So you guys'll wear the skirts tomorrow?"
They nodded.
"I hate sexism," agreed Remus. "I'm in. Though I'm not sure if there's a skirt in my size."
"It's ok, I can get Emily Midgen to give me an extra skirt," said Ana.
"Emily Midgen's a billion feet tall, An, it won't fi-"
"You've just made my point for me, Rem."
~…~…~…~…~…~…~…~…~…~…~…
The next morning went by smoothly... when they weren't in public.
Remus had lent Ana his trousers and Ana gave him her skirt.
Marlene, Lily, and Alice had been the kind donators of their skirts.
"Am I allowed to throw this piece of shit away?" Marlene had eagerly asked earlier.
As the 5 walked into the Great Hall, breaking every dress code rule that there ever was, they felt a surge of pride coursing through their veins.
Unfortunately, this pride didn't last long.
McGonagall come over to them. "Miss Miracle, why are you wearing trousers? And Misters Black, Potter, Lupin and Pettigrew- why are you wearing skirts?"
"I'm being a strong feminist by showing everyone that when women wear skirts, we get cat-called, and the fact that we seem to believe that only boys can wear trousers is a sexist belief," Ana stated in one short breath.
McGonagall blinked. "We'll work something out later today. But for tomorrow, please wear your regular clothes that will NOT get you dress coded."
"Have we ever listened fo the rules, Minnie?" asked Sirius nonchalantly.
"I highly doubt it," said McGonagall drily.
~…~…~…~…~…~…~…~…~…
The against-the-dress-code project was going well. They had worn skirts and trousers everyday for a whole month, and even other people who believed in feminism had volunteered to help their silent protest.
Soon, more than half the school was deciding to break the rules and not follow typical gender norms.
Finally, McGonagall got fed up with it so much that she just decided to allow it.
"Whooooo!" screamed Ana, when she saw the notice up on the bulletin board in the Hufflepuff common room.
She ran to the Gryffindor boys doemitory and swing it open. "We've done it! They got rid of the dress code!"
Everyone cheered.
This may not have been the biggest eveny in their whole life, but it definitely was in their hearts.
Aahhhhhhhhhh hope you guys liked that chapter :)
