Dear Diary,

Today I had my first detention. It's all because some stupid Hufflepuff snitched that I stole worms from the greenhouse to feed Bertie. I also lost 50 house points..

Everyone is furious at me and no one will speak to me; not even Harriette!

I decided to miss the banquet in the great hall and go off to read my book however the peace didn't last long...

I arrived at the great lake and sat down on the shore when I heard rustling from the tree behind me. I grabbed my wand despite only being able to do simple spells.

"Who's there?" I questioned.  

"It's Felix, please lower your wand I don't want to hurt you," He replied.  

I don't know what made me lower my wand but I did it anyway.

Felix emerged from the bushes.

"Why are you here alone?" He questioned

"I lost 50 house points and no one wants to speak to me." I replied

"I'll speak to you," he replied 

"Let me show you something." He added 

Felix went over to the tree and rustled the leaves in the trees thousands of firefly's flew up lighting the sky as the sun sets.

I watch them as they fly to the sky in awe.

"Come on Felicity, we need to get back for the feast." Said Felix 

We laughed all the way back to the great hall. We approached the golden doors and entered together, Felix and I went to sit on our separate tables.

As I walked over to the Gryffindor table Harriette was glaring at me she didn't even acknowledge me when I sat down.

"I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM HIM!" shouted Harriette

The whole hall went silent all eyes were on me. I got up and ran out holding back my tears, I watched Felix try to run after me only to be stopped by one of his friends.

I had never had Harriette shout at me like that EVER!

Harriette still hasn't come to our dorm but I doubt she will and nevertheless I will not be talking to her.
