Dear Diary,

I approached the golden doors which lead to the great hall, they swung open showing lots of other students sitting awaiting our arrival we walked down the legnth of the hall to the end were all of the staff were sitting there was a small brown stool with a tatty hat placed on top of it.

"When I call your name you willl come  and sit on this stool and I will place this hat on your head and you will be sorted in your house" said a stern voice.

Cram, Millicent The hat replied- SLYTHERIN!

Rothley, Emillia the hat thought for a minute- RAVENCLAW!

Evercreech, Felix- SLYTHERIN!

Then my friend was called up I said good luck 

Carter, Hestia- HUFFLEPUFF!

Bampton, Felicity

I gulped and made my way up the hat was placed on my head GRYFFINDOR! the hat cried out.

I made my way over to the Gryffindor table and sat down next to one of my fellow Gryffindors, The sorting ceremony continued i hoped that my friend Harriette would be placed in Gryffindor like me so i was not alone.

Birch, Harriette- GRYFFINDOR! 

I cheered i was not alone!  
"Psst Felicity." said Hestia

"Hi Hestia," replied Harriette and I

The ceremony went on for a while but after that the headmaster clicked her fingers and the feast started.

I was drinking my pumpkin juice when i noticed someone from the slytherin table staring at me it turned out to be Felix Evercreech he had dark brown wavy hair and blue eyes. He wouldnt stop staring at me I tried to distract myself from staring back but i couldnt stop staring at him.

"Felicity!" whispered Hariette

"Stop staring! they are slytherins!" she added.
