Dear Diary,

The day has finally arrived!  I woke up super early, as i dont want to miss the Hogwarts express (I know it departs at 11am but i am very nervous that i would miss it and i would be left on platform 9 3/4).

I arrived at the station with My trunks carrying all my supplies and my brand new barn owl Bertie. 

Luckliy I arrived early and the platform wasnt very busy i held my trolley and ran staight through platforms 9 & 10 and i was transported to platform 9 3/4 i waited there for half an hour and the platform became busier.

Its 11 o'clock i must not miss the train i said goodbye to my mother and handed over my trunks and bertie to the conductor who placed them in storage.

I walked onto the train and walked through to an empty carriage and sat down staring at the bustling platform with many parents waving goodbye to their children. I pulled out my favorite book and started reading as the train pulled out of the station.

I heared the muffled voice of someone saying "Anything from the trolley dears?" i had my money ready to buy lots of sweets and snacks as there was a long journey ahead of me.

Theres no turning back now i am on my way to Hogwarts!
