- Chapter 1: Introduction&Biographies
- Chapter 2: Alohomora
- Chapter 3: Colloportus
- Chapter 4: Incendio/Lacarnum Inflamare
- Chapter 5: Spongify
- Chapter 6: Wingardium Leviosa
- Chapter 7: Res Momentum
- Chapter 8: Diffindo
- Chapter 9: Reparo
As we can see, this is a charms textbook for beginners. It teaches us 8 charms in all. Some of them are quite easy and basic, like Wingardium Leviosa, while others are less famous. Well, I can't work out the reason of this sequence~
Coming to Chapter 1, we can see that the author wrote something about Charms to readers. It then uses a recent report from the Ministry of Magic and some words from a wizard. Finally, the author states that this is a book better than the Standard Spells for he eliminated some useless ones and updated some of them.
The rest are the charms and we will use Chapter 2 as a sample of the rest chapters.
In Chapter 2, the author first introduced the inventor--Ivnor. Then, he introduced the spell--its pronouciation, its use etc. Finally, he tells us the common mistakes.
In short, this is quite a good spell textbook, very clear indeed. Though it only contains a few charms, each charm is explained and taught very well. As you can see, I gave it a high HL score(Hermione Lovegood's Score).
