All About Animagi

written by Anton Rosier

I tried finding books about animagi specifically but didn't find anything in-depth, so I decided to write my own book that included everything you need to know about them, and about how to become one. Well, my book doesn't include everything. But I'll research more and update the book accordingly. However I do have a real life so don't expect the updates to bee too often.

Death's-head Hawk Moth

Chapter 4

A Death's-head hawk moth is a type of moth. Or actually, three types, but this term is used for all of them. The moths are charactirised by markings shaped like a human skull.

You will not be able to catch this moth in the wild, not if you're a student at Hogwarts atleast. So what I suggest is trying to find it inside the school. In 1980, Talbott Winger searched, and found one he could use for his animagus potion in Argus Filch's office. I do not know why Mr. Filch had it in his office, but what I mean is that one of the professors or staff most likely have one somewhere. If they're willing to lend it to you I do not know, but it's always worth a shot to ask. If you're ready to face the consequences you can always try to steal one, but I do not encourage that behaviour at all.
