Dear readers, in the last issue we discussed the most significant space events in 2023. Today I will continue this list and that's what awaits us in the middle of the year.

May 17, 2023

The occultation of Jupiter by the Moon is a rare and spectacular event that can only be observed from certain corners of the Earth. This year it will be possible to see how the bright Jupiter disappears behind the lunar disk. It can be seen in North and South America, as well as in Europe.

August 13, 2023

Perseid Peak. The Perseids are one of the most popular and abundant meteor showers of the year. Can be seen in the Northern Hemisphere.

August 27, 2023

Opposition of Saturn. When Saturn is opposite the Sun, it looks larger and brighter than usual, so it is best to observe it during this period. With a small telescope, you will be able to see the rings of Saturn, which will be seen especially clearly. Can be seen anywhere on Earth.

August 31, 2023

The biggest full moon of 2023. We will see the brightest supermoon. Also, this full moon will be a Blue Moon, or the second full moon in a calendar month. Can be seen anywhere on Earth.

And now I will tell you a little about the influence of the planets on us.

On January 3, the conjunction of Mars and the Moon in Taurus will occur. Mars means activity, and the Moon is a manifestation of emotions, mood. Together, these planets form bright emotions, they can be either negative, such as irascibility, anger, rage, or positive, such as passion, love of aesthetics. Since the planets are in Taurus (a restrained and patient sign), the stormy character of Mars will be lowered and the Moon will dominate here. Therefore, on this day, I advise you to invest all your energy and emotions in creativity, or your soulmate, if you have one. Or just spend time with your family and tell them how much you love them.
